As the team here at BlockAvenue starts to button-up our 2012 development commits, we thought we would revisit some of the questions we have been asking for the past few months (and also give a sneak peek as to what’s up next for BlockAve 2013)!
So, we all live somewhere, most of us work somewhere, many of us have kids that go to school somewhere…well, you get the point. Here is a list of questions we are very interested in getting your feedback on.
1.) If you could send out a “tweet like” message to all of your neighbors in your neighborhood, would you?
2.) If you could connect online with nearby neighbors that you see in passing at the grocery store, would you?
3.) If you could give your street, block, cul de sac or general location a “yelp like review” (good or bad), would you?
4.) If you could easily report civic problems such as graffiti or potholes to the city, would you?
5.) If you could connect with the local proprietors who own and manage the local stores, restaurants and community amenities in your neighborhood, would you?
Bonus: If you could keep a pulse on all of the above right from your iPhone….would you?
We have learned a lot over the past 3 months and have iterated quickly to launch and test new features. It’s your feedback that is so crucial for us…and for that I would like to thank each and every one of you who have written us emails, dropped us a line and sent us a tweet. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
We look forward to an exciting 2013 (yes we will be launching an iPhone & iPad app soon!) and want to wish you all the merriest of holidays and a happy New Year.
Love,
The BlockAve Team
